How much can you lift? No, but really. The LogJaw has been tested with significant loads, and no harm done to the tool. So using LogJaw as a hand tool, the capacity limit will be the users lifting capability. And obviously, don't be too tough and lift so much you get hurt. :) (The LogJaw may be unscathed, but you may not.)
Like we said, we don't like cheap tools, so we don't make 'em. The LogJaw is a heavy duty tool grade steel and made in the USA. No low-end tool here. AND it comes with a lifetime warranty. If it breaks during normal use, we will replace it.
Nope! We sell them individually. However, having two handles instead of one on a log is often an advantage, particularly if the log is being carried instead of dragged. However single LogJaws can be used by an individual to drag logs, or manipulate

That is not how this tool is designed to be used.... there are other tools for that type of carrying. Ours is unique with being designed for the best carrying method, the cut end!
Nope. The LogJaw is a great addition to your line of log tools, but it works differently than these. It's main function, and what it's best at, is moving and manipulating logs, awkward sized wood, or larger short pieces that need to be tipped into your log splitter!
"This won't supercede Timber Tongs - they offer a different way of lifting larger logs, with the handle extending away from the log rather then above. " - From an article by Phil Cunsford for FCA Magazine
"YES - invaluable. The LogJaw is a great loggers tool which can aid shifting or loading lumber. The cost reflects build quality, and they should last a lifetime, so long as no one else takes a fancy to them!"
